In her show at Verkligheten, Savinova meditates on various forms of water rooms – from seas and intertidal zones, inhabited by mystical and real creatures, to the water inside human bodies, and all living things.
The installation in the main building consists of watercolors, video works and shell sculptures. Symbols of water dwell in the room, soaking through walls and floors, moving like fish in a slow enigmatic flow. The recurrent undulated shapes are graphic icons of water, and embodiment of rivers, waves, seas, teardrops, liquids within human bodies, organisms, and the Universe.
