WHAT S/HE FEARS
There are only two fundamental emotions: love and fear. What do we fear in common? To what extent can we relate to someone else's fear? Is there a place for love under a pile of heavy stones? During preparation for this performance, I was collecting female-identifying people's fears in Umeå city library, Konsthall and Kvinnohistoriskt Museum, and via online form. Every fear has weight. Through attaching written story to the stone invisible fears and feelings obtain physical shape and heaviness. Fear is part of human nature. So is resilience. So is love. By acknowledging our fears, and taking steps to address them, we grow. |

COME BACK.
COME BAREFOOT Intuitive search for the place where one belongs - "the forest". Stepping inside, summoning the integrity branch by branch, one restores the forest - the wholeness - and shares love with whoever is around and willing/trusting to receive it. This is an invitation and a silent reminder that everyone carries a forest within and can go there anytime. Barefoot. / soil, grandmother's hair, 13 green branches, red threads, envelopes / perfromed for 13Festivalen. |
Come back. Come barefoot.

MAKE YOU MINE
Through image of a berry-pile, slowly being transformed into a decorative item, the performance reflects upon abuse in all forms and human greedy attitude to nature in particular. The beauty of the red juice and jewelry is painful, as in order to attain this beauty, harm needs to be done. The necklace leaves stains on the white shirt. Ruthless footsteps leave stains on the pathway. We play a dangerous dominative game, refusing to think about the consequences. We don't humbly take what we need. We want more. |

YOU DON'T FEEL PAIN, DO YOU? Durational performance and installation in a place where they cut down the trees. A meaningful forest - home for plants and animals, is now a wasteland - an empty place with no meaning, crossed out patch of land. |
